When you use the form on our site, we collect your name, the city, state, and ZIP code of your project, your email address, a description of your project in your own words, and whether you already have a design in mind. That's it. We don't ask for your phone number, your address, or anything financial.
Like most websites, we also collect basic anonymous analytics — pages visited, roughly where visitors are located, and what site sent them. This isn't tied to you personally.
This is the important part, so we'll be direct. We share what you submit with door companies we recommend to you. That's the entire purpose of the service. When you send us your project, we forward the relevant details to up to three companies suited to it so they know who you are and what you need before you contact them.
Those companies pay us a referral fee. We don't sell your information to anyone else, don't distribute it to lead-buying networks, and don't share it with anyone outside the small number of companies matched to your specific project.
We won't add you to a marketing list without your say-so. We won't sell your details to a data broker. And we won't hand your information to a company we wouldn't recommend to a friend.
Submissions are stored by our website host, Netlify, and in our email. Both are protected by standard commercial security measures. No system is perfect, and we won't pretend otherwise.
Email carl@carolinadoorcompany.com and ask. We'll delete what we have and tell you which companies received your details so you can contact them directly if you'd like. No explanation needed and no attempt to talk you out of it.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information. Ask and we'll honor them.
This site is meant for adults making decisions about their homes. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
If we change how any of this works, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
